senoritafishOne of our San Pedro purse seiners brought in 60 tons of squid this morning from Catalina Island. Silly squid, why are you showing up now? Don't you know, in southern CA you're only supposed to be here October thru March? You're supposed to be up in Monterey about now.
El Niños always knock the squid population for a loop and they do weird things the following year.
