On my way home, I stopped by the Target on Seal Beach Blvd. to pay a bill; I wasn't in there long because I realized I didn't have my ATM card with me. While at the stop sign before turning right to exit, I looked over to the curb next the the Macaroni Grill. I was shocked to see a small brown rabbit, probably a cottontail, standing on the corner. I don't think he was any bigger than my two hands side by side; he was sniffing the air, and nervously waiting for all the cars to pass before crossing kitty-corner to one of the hedges in the parking lot.

Hmm. Peter's a bit early?

Actually the shopping center butts up against a golf course and the Los Alamitos Air Base, but still, it's a huge parking lot.
