One of our traditions, starting the night before Gareth was born, is to visit Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach (PCH, right next to the San Gabriel River Bridge)at some time before Halloween. Not only are there thousands of pumpkins of all shapes, colors and sizes, but there are kid-sized carnival rides and a petting zoo. Since Gareth's birthday is on Halloween, it makes a nice celebratory family birthday outing. Grandma was out of town this year, though, and we were pretty short, so we only stayed for half an hour - a little break for me from frantically piecing together costumes as well. They got to pet the animals and go for a ride on the merry-go-round.
Gareth is pretending to pick up a very large pumpkin here.

Ok, and I guess I'm using Scrapbook now too. Well, maybe not for everything, but that little dropdown function makes it pretty easy, and I don't have upload it my other space first. Good for when I'm feeling lazy, I guess. Hopefully, this'll get incorporated into Semagic?
