Came home from work and John was taking a break in front of the TV, looked up and said "This is a really good movie." So I sat down as well, and got sucked in to On the Beach.

Damn, I'm all depressed now. The end of it could be the begining of The Quiet Earth.

I need to go watch Eddie Izzard now.

I have not. I went and put it on my list at Netflix. (http://www.netflix.com) I was a bit diappointed to find The Quiet Earth seems to be out of print or at least not on DVD. I enjoyed that one (if "enjoy" is the right word for end of the world movies like these).
