Aug. 6th, 2005 10:01 amA bait boat coming back to the dock; you can see it towing its skiff behind it. The skiff is used to haul the boat's net out to surround a school of fish. This boat has large wells filled with water, so it can deliver its catch ( mostly sardines and anvhovies) alive to barges in the harbor. The bit of Terminal Island behind it is where one of admirals of the Coast Guard lives.
I fiddled with curves a bit on this photo, because otherwise you couldn't see it against the island.
