May. 18th, 2004 09:17 pmMonday, when I called home, John told me he wrenched his back. So he's laying there moaning in bed.
Today, when I came home, John told me my dad was in the hospital. He's had a gallstone for at least the last 15 years, and when he went to the doctor today, the doctor decided to have it taken care of. He's supposed the have surgery, probably tomorrow. I called and he's unhappy because he can't find the remote for the TV, and can't eat or drink anything. He asked me to bring him the book he was reading, something he couldn't remember the title of but it's about the French and Indian War, but I couldn't find it. Now that I've got everyone fed and watered, I think visiting hours are over.
I'm assured this will go off without a hitch. Ol' Deadwood Bob is in good shape for his age, or they wouldn't have scheduled it right away. But I can't help worrying.
