May. 8th, 2003 01:05 pmIt's official - I killed my jaz drive yesterday. I mistakenly tried eject a disk when it was still copying a file (I thought it had finished). At first I thought it was the disk that had been ruined; the damn thing wouldn’t pop completely out, and when it did the little door was out of kilter. However, after putting the door back in its little track, the disk works fine in other computers. However, my drive won't recognize any disks now. It sits there, forlornly blinking at me - "You killed me, you killed me..."
Ah, well, I hate those damn things anyway. I don't know what Iomega was thinking when they came up with disks that cost more than the drive to use them does. No wonder they stopped making them.
