Mar. 15th, 2003 11:10 pmMah garshk. It is still pouring outside and has only let up a few minutes at a time all day. We went over to John's mother's for dinner and to drop Angus off - he's to spend the night and go to Sunday school with Grandma. On the drive over, the rain paused for a bit and there was a nice crack in the clouds. It didn't show any blue sky, but made for a lot of nice contrast of different shades of gray - from very nearly white in some parts of the sky, to that dark gray that is almost blue. I pulled out my new camera and made some shots through the windshield. Once we got to the mobile home park where John's mother lives, I had him drive to the far side next to the water where I could get a nice view of the horizon looking south. Hmmm, I'm lazy, so I just left the camera on automatic and they turned out pretty good (I think-I haven't downloaded them yet), but I wonder what manual settings might make them look better? I'm going to have to look up some photography stuff - I don't remember much from the class I took - but give me a break, that was in eighth grade! Maybe I'll post them when I get them resized; I have to do that on the other computer, since I can't upload them from this one.
John went out to the garage - he's been playing with his new router on his boxes. He said it was only for a little bit, but he tends to lose track of time.
Rain. It'll be nice to go sleep to.
