Forked Tongue - similar, but very very strict rules. I think people are too initimidated to post there - I know I am. It might have been a April Fool's joke.
Fancovers - forgot about this one no ones posted in a long time. Supposed to contribute vocals or instruments to make covers of songs. Don't know what happening with it. I like to sing - but whether anyone likes me to sing is another story....
World Class Rock - people digusted with the state of radio in L.A and dreadfully miss KSCA and 101.9
Daily Grist - daily list of enviromentally related articles - I'm amazed at how many of these come from the Christian Science Monitor
Vejetesai - from author of fanfic Vejetesai Ascendant - she hasn't posted anything for almost a year, so it's exciting to hear she is putting up chapters again
VAML - Dicussion group for the above (rather slow right now)
DBZ-Fanfiction - self explanatory
Saiyajin Secrets - DBZ yaoi and shonen-ai, hmm, what am I getting myself into?

No wonder I can't keep up with my e-mail, plus all the communities I belong to here at LJ that show up on my friends list. Hmm, sadly lacking in Trekkish or X-files stuff - perhaps my tastes are changing....
Edited to say I forgot I just joined Merriam-Webster Word O' the Day - which started me thinking about this whole entry! And how could I forget The Serious Shrine - Yahoo is such a cutie - wish he'd do stuff more often. I can't believe Young Einstein isn't on DVD yet! One of my favorite movies.
