Well, now I feel like a heel, I took off yesterday because John seems to have some kind of stomach flu. He still felt awful today, but I can only take so much time off from work. I was told once, there are only so many days a month I can take off for family sick leave. What do other people do, when their stay at home spouses are sick? Maybe I chould check with personnel; I'm really not too clear in the rules. Besides which I have an important project I need to do ASAP; other people are waiting for what I do before they can go forward.

Later - I just called home; John says he got his brother to come over to help watch the kids, but he's still about the same and threw up all ever one of his shirts. Now I feel really bad.

Why do sick people irritate me so much?
