Mmmph. They are redoing the stairwells in my building to make them ADA compliant - apparently they did not finish over the weekend, and I walked in the door this morning to find both stairwells on this end of the building taped off. Apparently we will kill ourselves if there is no wooden railing screwed to the wall (yes, I know I'm just being grumpy - there are laws about such things). We have to take the elevator or go clear to the other end of the building, both of with necessitate bringing the key to the building along, since to get to them you have to go into areas belonging to the other company that inhabits the building.

I don't imagine they're all that happy with messy fish & game employees clumping up and down their stairs with their fishy dock boots on, either. ;p

I feel ya on that one. They started work like that at my building for the same reason...and we have been missin 30 parking spaces for almost 3 months. It is sad. The businesses get the threat and the deadline yhen they rush and the work never passes inspection. Grrrr.
