Sometimes I wonder if anyone ever adds their own Lego to the sculpture. I mean, how hard is it to give the sleeping dude a bee hive hair-do or a mustache? :)

I think he thought you were Uncle Doug, who goes there with us sometimes.

This was actually back in June. I've been trying to do a "Post a Picture for Each Day" thing (see the link at the side - My Life Once a Day), but sometimes I accidentally put them here instead. As you can see by the date tag at the bottom, I'm kind of behind.

Ha! I knew one of the erudite on my FL would have an explanation.

A few of the signs there go over my head as it is. The same trip there were all these lamppost banners with Nemo's visage and the text "Resurfacing June 11." There's been so much road construction in my neighborhood, I couldn't figure out why they were making such a big deal of retarring the parking lot.
