I did actually eat it - wasn't going to let the budding sandwich-making skills get nipped in the bud - but the combination of hot chilis in the cheese and raisins took some getting used to.

It started to grow on me a little though. Sort of like sweet/hot salsa.

I tend to reserve raisin bread for toast, and maybe cream cheese.

Chile cheese and raisins took a bit of getting used to, but hey, could be the next big thing!

Thing is, if I'd set the same in front of her, she probably would have turned up her nose.
