Aug. 6th, 2005 02:02 pmOk, back to the docks again....
Boats unload by pulling up in front of the market, and the fish is pumped out with a hose about a foot across.
This is the top of the pump. The fish is weighed in baskets in front of the guy in blue, about a half a ton at a time, and dumped in the rectangular bins on the pallet jacks. From there, they're taken into the building, out the other side, and onto a truck. Then they go to plant somewhere else to be processed.
