Never been in the urgent care since my medical group change offices. This waiting room looks like they had a professional interior decorator come in. There is a large round mirror on the wall next to the reception window, about 2' across with an additional 8" of fancy frame encircling it. The glass has a beveled edge, and every time the TV across the room flashes a bright color, the bevel makes a halo of the same color all around the mirror. The otherwise tastefully neutral decor takes on a rather inner city neon look.

There are two old guys sitting across from me - one's obviously keeping his friend company on a doctor visit. The other reminds me of my dad. His friend asked him if he was still watching 10 movies a a week, and he expounded on the joys of Netflix and the most recent movie he watched (Man on Fire with Denzel Washington, in case you wondered, but I know you didn't) for 15 minutes, with his friend nodding every once in while.

John's reading Popular Mechanics and points out the new Kia Sportage getting a very good review. We loved our old one, but had to trade it before Avalon arrived; there wasn't room for three car seats. I'm wondering what kind of mileage it gets though and if Kia has any plans for hybrids.
