Urk, late again! I must have dozed off with my eyes open. I had this one done twenty minutes ago, honest.

A squid I drew while out on a research cruise. Yes, I know squid don't have eyelashes, but this one just cried out for them. See, she's flirting with you, as cephalopods do.

Avalon just woke up and came in to climb in my lap, so I put her my side of the bed, since it's not occupied at present. After 5, I'll put her back in her own bed.

I put a rental DVD of Mystery Men on, but I'm going to have to watch it again later; I'm not paying much attention to it.

You are really talented. Photography and drawings. It's funny how I see another side of you when you're not as busy taking care of your job and kids.

Really nice drawing (and that coming from a marine biologist!)

I like to draw - I don't do it very often. I've said my drawing muse is a sloth who sleeps most of the time. He wakes up and gives me a single poke with his claw once every six months or so.

Well, thank you very much! I must admit I was looking at a photo in a book - I can't draw from memory very well.
