And, connected to my previous mylife_onceaday-tagged post, ripening strawberries mean after their lunch, the starlings party in the sycamores around the office and in the parking lot. They make so much noise we can hear them through the glass, and unlucky cars and walkways become dotted with seedy pink poops. This occasionally results in strawberry plants poking up through the ivy as well.
