Wow. I put a movie to return to Netflix in the mailbox across the street from the office yesterday, sometime between 12:30 - 1:00 pm.

I got an email at 4:48 this morning, saying they'd received it. When I put it either in my mailslot at home, or the box on the next block, sometimes it takes 2-3 days to get there, even though Huntington Beach is closer to Santa Ana (the local Netflix repository) than Seal Beach, where the mailbox across from my office is located.

Docks - it was a gorgeous morning after a rain. There were no boats out, but I went up to Pt. Fermin for a few minutes just in case. While I was there a pair of ravens soared by below me, which I thought was a great perspective. I caught this one, perilously close to passing over the sun streak on the water.
