Honestly, I just don't understand my Dad. He wants his live in maid/cook service (John & I - actually mostly John, since I work full-time), but he gets mad when we clean up the house. He also gets mad when we don't clean up the house. John had to phone me today at work so I could listen to them arguing - Dad had said he was going to clean up the mess in the pantry and after waitng for 2 YEARS John got his friend Alex to help him do it. Now Dad says he did not make the mess. I think we would be a lot happier if we didn't have to live together, but I feel like we are trapped. We can't afford to move, and he can't afford to have us leave - he can't get by without our rent. I love my Dad but damn, he's gotta be so damn negative about everything!

This is how I get sidetracked. Tom at work asked where the US government website was. After looking around a bit I decided that each Department seems to have its own domain; unlike the state, where everthing is XXX.ca.gov. So then I saw the Library of Congress and found This Day in History to send to John's Mom on her birthday (coming up). It contained the sad story from Teddy Roosevelt's diary how his wife died giving birth to their child only a few hours after his mother had also died in the same house. I also found some historical sheet music that Doug might be interested in.

By the way, what is the use of downloading that client if you have to be connected to log into it? I'm confused....

John is sawing logs - he will probably wake up before too long and ask when I'm coming to bed. Once again, I have stayed up too late- I can tell because I'm getting hungry again.
