Ok, does anyone know how to contact the moderator/owner of a community if their user name is not listed on the info page? badparents has been getting out of hand lately. You are supposed to leave your judgments at the door, and yet people are being downright mean there.

I understand that you may not support someone else's parenting methods. Polite nudging in a different direction or gentle suggestions for another solution are fine - outright attacks are not. Neither is deliberately picking fights (although it feels like self-defense) and inviting the trolls to come calling. Honestly, seems like the parents need parents.

Hmm, I've not found a parenting community which didn't result in the holier than thou approach to discussions. It's rather odd that such communities would be populated by the infantile instead of the enlightened.

Most of the time it's fairly light there.

But it needs someone to actively moderate it and warn and/or ban the misbehavers. Sad it needs to come to that.
